iMovie
I used iMovie to create my visual story, which involved my teaching students the concept of "tone" in literature. The end result was great! However, I did not love using this tool as much as I've loved others. It took a good deal of time, and I didn't like how I was constrained to a certain number of slides/images that were predetermined by the app. You can view the final product below, which was created with the hope that students would be able to better understand the concept of "tone" via visual literacy, rather than just reading it on a page and trying to decipher it through discussion and comprehension.

Teaching Tone in Literature
iMovie, though a bit time consuming, could be used in a plethora of ways in the classroom. Students could write creative stories, make advertisements, or even complete a presentation for independent reading. This app could be used as an assessment for students to express themselves beyond the written word.
