Pinterest, (www.pinterest.com), is a curation website that allows for users to search, collect, and organize photographs and other visuals based on a common theme. Users can collect images that fall into a multitude of categories, such as hobbies, educational lesson plans, personal interests, and recipes, and that is just the tipping point! These images are then organized into their respective bulletin boards by the user. Users also have the ability to post their own ‘pins’ so that others may view and collect them. To even further the use of Pinterest, when one clicks on a “pin”, it leads you to the site from which the image was collected. There you can read a full length article, browse a website, or collect research.
