Possible ways to implement Pinterest in your classroom!
- Instructional Use 1: Students could be asked to pin photo onto a bulletin board for each class novel. At the end of the year, they can study for finals by simply reviewing the photographs.
- Instructional Use 2: Students could do research on a specific person or place and show their bulletin board as a visual while they complete an oral presentation.
- Instructional Use 3: As field trips are getting harder and harder to attend, due to scheduling, state assessments, etc, students could go on a virtual field trip through a bulletin board that the teacher creates. For example, when reading The Fault in our Stars, the characters traveled to Amsterdam. In class, the teacher could take the students on a virtual field trip to Amsterdam so that the students have a visual to refer to as they read the novel.
